About Melissa
I am a qualified and fully registered Secondary Teacher (VIT) and teach from year 7 to VCE. I am also a qualified International Taekwon-Do Federation Instructor. My skills in the area of English and Social Sciences are very high and I would like the opportunity to share my knowledge with students.

Over the past 12 months I have tutored VCE English based on the following texts: Elie Wiesel's Night and A Streetcar Named Desire. This year I will also have preparation work on: Cosi, The Crucible and The Omagh. With each novel or film as text I cover with students, I prepare worksheets, essay topics and other activities to help students broaden their knowledge of these texts.

I prefer to work from home or over the Internet as I have a young family. I also teach Taekwon-Do through the week, hence my available hours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

My available hours are: Mondays 8.30pm to midnight; Tuesdays 8.30pm to midnight; Wednesdays 7pm to midnight, Thursdays 7pm to midnight and Fridays 8.30pm to midnight. Saturday and Sundays are also available by arrangement. I normally tutor VCE students for one hour blocks and usually 1.5/2 hour blocks leading up to exam time and happy to do group sessions with a maximum of three students.
