About Ankit
| I have an Engineering background and currently I am a MBA student at the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne. Also, I am pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and presently I am a CFA level 3 candidate. The core courses at the business school and CFA study program have provided me with strong understanding finance, accounting, statistics and few other management subjects. Also, I have strong mathematical and analytical skills. I am an advanced level user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power-point applications.
Additionally, I enjoy teaching. Prior to joining the MBA program, I was teaching high school/school students Math (Algebra and Geometry). And now I am teaching my classmates finance and accounting. Also, I am people friendly and patient. I acknowledge the fact that few students take time to understand a concept/theory. I always pay special attention to such students and ensure that they understand the material. Apart from just teaching, I like to mentor/coach a student. I am reasonably good at career counseling and am always open to career discussions. Having worked in the I.T. and Finance industry for 3 years, I can provide the industry perspective along with the course material.
