About Michael
| Hi, my name is Michael and I am an Arts/Education student at Monash University. In studying the principles of Education I truly believe that developing a sense of quality learning is imperative for all students. This has become my primary aim when providing tuition for VCE students. I not only target conceptual errors that can cost students several marks when it comes to SAC's and exams, but I also nurture and encourage the learning styles of each of my students.
I work on a goal-based system so that students are constantly receiving positive reinforcement for their study and thus retain a high level of motivation when it comes to the examination period. Overall I believe that information should be conveyed in an easy to understand manner by presenting key themes and concepts in a style that the student feels is beneficial for them. I will treat any tuition job with the utmost importance as I am ultimately aiming to become a secondary school teacher when I leave University. Concerning matters of tuition for VCE I am able to teach the following subjects and content: History Revolutions (China and Russia), English (Look Both Ways, A Man For All Seasons, Issues Analysis, and both Enduring Love and The Shark Net for the context of Whose Reality), Media Studies, Further Mathematics (Core, Networks, Graphs and Relations, and Matrices), and Psychology. I received a study score of 40 for English, 40 for History and 42 for Media Studies, therefore making these three subjects my strongest. Whilst I am only entering my second year of University I am also able to tutor first year History, Communications and Education subjects.
