About Michael
| I am a research fellow at the University of Melbourne. I completed both my Batchelor of Arts (with first class honours) and my PhD in Anthropology at Monash University, Clayton Campus. I have tutored Anthropology at both Latrobe and Monash Univerities and have mentored and supervised PhD candidates at Melbourne University.
I have extensive skills in english grammar and composition, academic writing, report writing and essay construction. To this end, I have authored two books, one book chapter and numerous academic articles which have been published in academic journals both nationally and internationally. I have an extensive knowledge of social theory and qualitative research methodologies and a broad life history which includes several years of cultural heritage management with remote area indigenous communities in NT and SA. I am currently studying a Graduate Diploma at Victoria University in order to to transfer my skills to secondary teaching. I am a keen and able educator who is enthusiatic about learning and believes that this is a process that continues throughout life. I look forward to helping you or child get the most from their edcational opportunities. |
